Nusantara Regas signs FSRU time charter party with Golar

PT Nusantara Regas (NR), a joint venture between state-owned oil, gas firm PT Pertamina and state owned gas distributor PT Perusahaan Gas Negara (PGN) to build LNG terminal, signed Wednesday a time charter party with Golar LNG Energy Limited as the underlying contract for the approximately 11-year lease of floating storage and regasification Unit (FSRU).
The FSRU, which is now being prepared, and will be used to deliver up to 500 MMSCFD of regasified LNG to NR?s downstream pipeline. The FSRU is expected to be delivered in January 2012, NR said in a statement.
The FSRU will be leased for 11 years and is the first FSRU in Southeast Asia. (romel)
