NZOG applies for 2nd JSA

New Zealand Oil & Gas Limited (NZOG) and its Indonesian-focused partner Bukit Energy continue to identify upstream assets in Indonesia with Sumatra area as focus.

NZOG reported on Wednesday that it had applied for second joint study agreement (JSA) for an exploration block in Sumatra .

NZOG and Bukit Energy have been awarded JSA over an acreage in northern part of Sumatra and at the end of the study period the partnership will have first right to acquire the block under direct offer mechanism.

A farm-in offer in Sumatra is also currently being negotiated and other opportunities are being under active assessment, the company said. (alex)
