ASX listed New Zealand Oil and Gas Ltd (NZOG) recently stated it plans to drill at least two wells at its 22.5 percent owned Kisaran block in the next 12 months. Kisaran exploration block is located at the onshore of North Sumatra, near its 45 percent owned Bohorok production sharing contract, also an exploration block.

In addition to its planned 3 year initial work program on Bohorok, which the company won the bid last May, it said to consider two additional joint study agreements in Sumatra without elaborating the detail.

"Our targets for Kisaran is conventional, but the possibilities are unconventional," the company said in a report submitted to the ASX.
