Ocean General drilling rig to move to Tuna PSC

UK independent oil, gas firm Premier Oil Plc said on Wednesday that the Ocean General drilling rig will move to Indonesia to drill two exploration wells on the Tuna PSC, offshore Natuna Sea.

?The CRD-2X well in offshore Vietnam will now be plugged and abandoned before the Ocean General drilling rig moves to Indonesia to drill two exploration wells on the Tuna PSC,? the company said.

The company will drill Gajah Laut Utara and Belut Laut exploration wells. The first result from these wells is expected in May, it said.

Premier Oil, the operator of the block, holds 65% participating interest in the block with the remaining held by Mitsui Oil Exploration Co, Ltd. (romel)
