Odira to drill 7 wells

PT Odira Energy Karang Agung, the operator of Karang Agung PSC, said it would soon drill 7 wells in the block, located onshore South Sumatra.

The seven comprises 1 exploration well, 3 exploitation wells, 1 injection well and 2 workover wells, the company said in a tender announcement.

The company has said it expect one of the block?s fields, the Ridho field, could hit production stage later on this year, with production expected to hover around 1.800 barrels of oil per day.

Late last year, Odira signed an agreement with local governments over the handover of 15 percent working interest in the block.
