OEP Karangampel's Subang well spudded in

SBIG-14 well located in SBG-H well area in Subang, West Java, owned by OEP Karangampel has been spudded in.
On hand at the spudding in ceremony included the head of Subang subdistrict, R. Ragawa Wirasutisna, representing the local government.
SGB-14 well is the last well drilled in Subang, according to a statement by MA-II OEP Karangampel, Alfian Syarofie, as quoted by Buletin Pertamina No. 39/2000.
Alfian said that he expected supports from local authorities as well as local people for the spudding in operation, so that the results would bring in income for the local administration.
Subang subdistrict head R. Ragawa said he understood that OEP Karangampel did not employ many locals because OEP Karangampel needed people with special knowledge and skills to operate its assets in Subang. (*)
