Oil development projects to contribute 586,700 BPD: BP Migas

“BP Migas expects oil production from the on going field developments will reach about 181,700 BPD, while from the new development projects will add another 405,000 BPD,” BP Migas chairman Kardaya Warnika said.
According to Kardaya, the on going development projects are Oseil (21,000 BPD), Sukowati (10,000 BPD), Integrated SNSB (70,000 BPD), Tambora (6,400 BPD), Oyong (8,700 BPD), Piano and West Piano (6,600 BPD), TBA and TBC (7,000 BPD), Sisi- Nubi (10,000 BPD), Senoro (12,000 BPD), and Tangguh (30,000 BPD).
Meanwhile, the new development projects are include Cepu (120,000 BPD), Jeruk (100,000 BPD), North Duri (75,000 BPD), Ranggas (30,000 BPD), Bukit Tua (25,000 BPD), Ujung Pangkah (20,000 BPD), Gendalo 16,000 (BPD), and Merah Besar (19,000 BPD).
Kardaya added that BP Migas is also preparing the fast track programs for Tanggulangin field (600 BPD), Bene Bekasap (1,700 BPD), Gondang field (400 BPD), and Southwest Betara (2,000 BPD), to speed up commencement of oil production from the fields.
The government has targeted to boost the country’s oil production to about 1.3 MMBPD by 2009. (dino)
