Oil and gas operations in Papua have not been affected by the 7.2 earthquake which shook the Bohol Island in the Philippines on Tuesday, according to the upstream oil and gas authority SKK Migas.

SKK Migas Chairman J. Widjonarko told Petromindo.com Wednesday that the facilities of the oil and gas production sharing contractors in Manado, Sorong, and Jayapura remain operating normally despite earlier warning from the National Disaster Mitigation Agency of potential tsunami affecting the regions.
