Oil, geology conference to be held in Bali

An international conference on oil industry and geology will be held on October 16-18 in the resort island of Bali.
Public relations official of the state-owned oil and gas company Pertamina Ridwan Nyak Baik said that the conference would be opened by the Minister of Mineral Resources and Energy Purnomo Yusgiantoro.
Pertamina president Baihaki Hakim will be among of the speakers in the conference, he added.
Ridwan said that the conference, which will be attended by international oil businessmen, will discuss among other things oil business strategy, geology issues in Australia, and the latest technology in oil and gas industry.
He said that the conference will also include exhibition of various oil and gas technology. (R. Amoros)
