Oil lifting reaches 946,000 bpd in December-February period

Indonesia?s oil lifting during three month period between December 2008 to February 2009 reached 946,000 barrels per day, lower compared to the 960,000 bpd target set in the 2009 state budget, according the latest data issued by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources.
The average daily gas lifting during the three month period reached 7,526 MMBTUD, higher than the 6,773 MMBTUD target stated in the stated budget, it said.
The ministry said that the average crude oil price between December and February reached US$41.18 per barrel, lower than the $45 per barrel target of the state budget.
The calculation of the oil and gas lifting was made during a meeting between senior officials from the Ministry of Finance, BP Migas, production sharing contractors (PSCs), producing provinces and regencies and the Ministry of Home Affairs in Jakarta on April 22-23. (godang)
