Oil production of Pertamina EP Eastern Indonesia above target

PT Pertamina EP for Eastern Indonesia region, one of subsidiaries of state owned oil and gas company PT Pertamina, said it has managed to surpass its 2012 production target of 8,008 barrels of oil per day (bpd) for period of seven months to July.
?Hopefully, there will be additional production for period of August-September driven by the implementation of ESP (electrical submersible pump) and more drilling activities.
"The production for period of January to July was equal to 126 percent of 2012 target of 8,008 bpd,? GM Pertamina for Eastern Indonesia Satoto Agustono told Petromindo.com
He however did not provide further details of the name of fields that produced higher-than-target production.
