Oilex sees C. Sumatra field to produce 4,000-6,000 BPD

Australian oil, gas firm Oilex Ltd. Reported on Monday that Pendalian oil discovery in West Kampar PSC onshore Central Sumatra might be able to produce between 4,000-6,000 barrels per day when fully developed by the end of this year.
The company targeted the Pendalian-3 well to become onstream in the second quarter of this year with production estimated at 1,200 BPD.
The company said it and partner planned to acquire 50-km 3D seismic on Pendalian, to be followed by development wells drilling.
The partnership also plans to acquire 250-km 2D seismic on the block with the aim of drilling 3-4 exploration wells later in the second half of this year.
Oilex has 45 percent interest in West Kampar PSC with operator Sumatera Persada Energi has the remaining balance. (denny)
