Oiltanking awards storage tank terminal project to Rotary Engineering

Rotary said in a statement on Thursday that the contract involves the engineering, procurement and construction of a 283,100 cubic meter capacity storage tank, which is expected to commence in July this year and scheduled for completion by October 2008.
Rotary has had an extensive working relationship with Oiltanking, one of the world’s leading independent storage partners for oils, chemicals and gases, spanning over the last 16 years.
Oiltanking is developing a US$120-million deepwater storage terminal for petroleum products and gases in Merak. The terminal will be equipped to most efficiently handle the full range of petroleum products such as gasoline, diesel, fuel oil as well as jet fuel and LPG.
The terminal will serve as a distribution terminal to the Greater Jakarta markets as well as provide break of bulk services for Indonesia. (Robert)
