Omega Mining replaces Ricobana as mine contractor at W. Kutai project

IDX-listed coal miner PT Atlas Resources Tbk has appointed Jakarta-based firm PT Omega Mining Services as mine contractor for about 5 years to mine its coal at its unit PT Diva Kencana Borneo in West Kutai regency, East Kalimantan, an industrial sources said.

Under the deal, Omega has started coal mining activity in August this year for the next 54 months, the source said.

Earlier, the parent company used another national contractor PT Ricobana Abadi.

At the present, the mine produces around 100,000 tons per month of high CV coal. The marketing agent of the coal is international trader Noble.
