ONWJ on track to hit production target

Offshore North West Java (ONWJ) is on track to meet its oil production target of 35,200 barrels per day (bpd) this year, the operator of the block said on Wednesday.

?Our Work Program & Budget (WP&B) target for this year is 35,200 bpd. Today, our production rate has reached 32,000 bpd and is poised to increase following the completion of several drilling, maintenance and pipe replacement projects,? Tenny Wibowo, President Director of PT PHE ONWJ, told Petromindo.com

Tenny, who is also International Business Director at PT Pertamina Hulu Energy, which controls the block, said the block is expected to produce more next year.

?Next year?s target is being formulated. We hope it is higher compared to this year?s,?he said.
