OPG seeking coal supply from Indonesia

LSE-listed OPG Power Ventures Plc (OPG), a developer and operator of power plants in India offered an open tender to supply three shipments of thermal coal from Indonesia.

The expected coal has specification of 4,200 GAR, Sulphur content of less than 0.70 percent VM of 42 percent, TM of Max 37 percent, IM of 15 percent and Ash with maximum of 5 percent.

The company said in a tender announcement received by petromindo.com on Thursday that discharge port would be Ennore port (Chettinad Coal Terminal), East Coast India (FOB/CIF basis).

The minimum quantity is 165,000 tons up to maximum 210,000 tons. Parcel Size to vary between 55,000 to 65,000 (10 pct MOLOO). Vessel must be IACS Class with age not exceeding 15 years on BL Date. Gearless vessel is acceptable.

The delivery period is one shipment per calendar month from 1st July to 30th September 2013 to be delivered at Ennore with laycans to be mutually agreed between Sellers and OPG at least 15 days prior commencement of laycan.
