Ophir: Seismic data processing in W. Papua IV block to be completed in Q4

Ophir Energy Indonesia, a unit of UK-based Ophir Energy plc, said that processing of data from last year?s 3D seismic survey in West Papua IV block, offshore Papua, is projected to be completed in the fourth quarter (Q4) of this year.
?The data acquisition has been completed late last year. Now we are doing the data processing, which is expected to be completed in Q4," President Director of Ophir Energy Indonesia, Anggoro Kasyanto said to Petromindo.com.
According to Anggoro, after the data processing is completed, it will be followed up with interpretation to decide whether drilling is warranted.
Ophir has a 49.9 percent operating interest in the West Papua IV Block. The block was acquired from Niko Resources Limited in 2015.
