Orica says Bontang ammonium nitrate plant construction progressing

Australian explosive maker Orica Limited reported on Monday that construction of its 300,000 tonnes per annum ammounium nitrate plant in Bontang, East Kalimantan, is continuing with commissioning expected in 2011.
The company said that site piling work commenced in August 2009 and cumulative spending to date is A$148M.
Orica has 51 percent stake at the plant.(alex)
