Oropa eyeing Indonesian coal project

Australian mining firm Oropa Limited said on Monday it had held talks to acquire a coal mining project in Indonesia and other projects in Australia and Central Africa.

Negotiations are ongoing and the company is currently undertaking detailed assessment, the company said without further elaboration.

Oropa has currently a gold project called Pungkut in North Sumatra, which is already in advanced exploration stage.(alex)
