ASX-listed Orpheus Energy Limited reported its coal sales increasing 42,000 tons shipped in April/May and 17,000 tons already shipped in June.
The company in the statement said on Wednesday that the coal has been sold to a variety of buyers including domestic utilities and Indonesian trading groups.
"With nearly three weeks remaining in June, the company anticipates achieving a material increase in coal sales for the month of June when compared with the preceding two months," it said.
Orpheus said that it would continue to focus on reducing costs to maximize the return for its coal sales, particularly as production continues to ramp up over the coming months.
