P?yry awarded OE services contract for Antam?s coal fired power plant

Finland engineering and consulting firm P?yry announced Wednesday it has been awarded an Owner's Engineering services contract for a new coal fired power plant in Indonesia by state miner PT. ANTAM (Persero) Tbk (Antam).

The value of the assignment is about EUR 2.1 million.

Antam plans to build a new 2 x 25 MW coal fired power plant to be located in their ferronickel plant in Pomalaa, South East Sulawesi. The planned power plant is envisioned to supply the auxiliary facilities of Antam's ferronickel plants.

P?yry's assignment includes the feasibility study, preparation of EPC tender documents, assistance in EPC tender process, bids evaluation and in the EPC contract negotiations, engineering design review, QA/QC management, construction management, site supervision and coordination of commissioning services.

The duration of the Owner Consultancy Services is 38 months. (alex)
