P?yry bags EUR2m engineering services for S. Sulawesi power plant

Global consulting and engineering firm P?yry PLC said Monday it has been awarded an owner's engineering services contract for 2x35 MW coal-fired power plants in South Sulawesi by PT Semen Tonasa. The value of the assignment is EUR 2 million.
Tonasa will build the new power plants to provide power for the needs of the new Tonasa V Cement Plant. The power plants will be built in support of stability for cement production and the investment will further improve the cost competitiveness of PT Semen Tonasa's operations in Indonesia.
P?yry's assignment includes the review of basic design and tender documents, bid evaluation and assistance in EPC contracting, and engineering design review, QA/QC management, site supervision and commissioning supervision services. The project will be completed in 2012.(alex)
