PACE Energy to develop renewable energy power plants in RI

PACE Energy, a wholly-owned subsidiary of EREN Renewable Energy (EREN RE), which was set up in mid-2015 to develop renewable energy portfolio across Southeast Asia, plans to develop up to 1 GW of renewable energy power plants in Indonesia including wind, solar PV, and hydro.
Kam Ho, Chief Operating Officer of PACE Energy, said that the company has already signed an MOU with the Directorate General of Renewable Energy at the Indonesian Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources for a 150 MW wind power plant in Banten Province. He was speaking at the Indonesia Electricity and IPP Conference on Thursday held by Petromindo.com.
"Technology evolution is key to the growth of the wind industry in Indonesia due to low average wind speeds," he said in a presentation.
EREN RE is a subsidiary of France?s EREN Groupe, created by the former charmain and ex-CEO of EDF Energies Nouvelles, EREN RE?s goal is to develop, own and operate utility-scale renewable energy projects around the world. EREN RE is capitalized with over ?800 million in shareholder?s equity with over 450 MW projects currently operational, over 600 MW under financing and under construction, and over 1.5 GW under development.
