Indonesia coal mining company PT Pacific Energy Lestari, which is part of NG Group of Companies, is targeting 1 million tons of coal output in 2017 from its coal concession in Kota Baru Regency, South Kalimantan province.
Biju N G, President Director of NG Group told Petromindo.com on Wednesday that this production target is the same with the realized coal output in 2016.
"We are eyeing a flat target at the level of 1 million tons as we have a long term contract with our client in India," he said, adding that the fluctuation of coal price doesn't affect much the company's policy in coal production. "Hence, we just maintain our long term contract with buyer from India," he said.
Pacific Energy Lestari has a concession in South Kalimantan producing coal with the CV of 6000-7500 Kcal/kg.
