Pacific Oil secures right to co-manage Pertamina?s Aceh block

Oil, gas company PT. Pacific Oil & Gas Indonesia (POGI) said on Monday it had secured an agreement with state oil and gas company PT. Pertamina to co-operate Perlak Block, onshore East Aceh.
POGI CEO AR ?Dudung? Natanegara told Petromindo.Com that it had received notification from Pertamina and would sign agreement on March 21, 2007.
Dudung said the company planned to conduct exploration drilling on the block this year. ?POGI will work to bring the block on stream in 2008,? he said, without giving specific detail.
The block is part of the 12 blocks, which contain mature fields, offered by Pertamina to investors under co-operation scheme. (godang)
