Padangbara inks port facility deal with IBT

PT Padangbara Sukses Makmur (PSM), a coal unit of Padang Karunia Group, has signed a port facility deal with coal terminal operator PT Indonesia Bulk Terminal (IBT), a unit of Indonesia-listed energy firm PT Adaro Energy Tbk.

Under the deal, PSM has a commitment to supply 1 panamax vessel load every month to its overseas clients through IBT, the industrial source told petromindo.com

PSM is producing around 100,000 tons per month from its mines in Muara Teweh, Central Kalimantan. The company's products have CV specification of 5000 kcal/kg (GAR) and 5,400 kcal/kg (GAR). The loading jetty ports are located at Bintang Ninggi in North Barito regency and Salat Baru in Ampah, East Barito regency.

An industrial source told Petromindo.com earlier that some 30,000 tons of coal are still available for spot buyers.
