Paiton opens 30k coal spot tender for May

PT Pembangkitan Jawa Bali, a subsidiary of state electricity firm PLN has opened earlier this week a coal supply tender for May shipment to its 800-MW Paiton power plant in East Java.
Paiton will need around 30,000 tons of coal for May 2008 supply, with calorie 5,100 kcal/kg (AR), Paiton?s procurement officer, Susantoso told Petromindo.Com on Thursday.
Paiton also inquires the interested companies to ship the coal with a capacity at least 8,000 tons, he said.
The interested companies must submit document tender by Friday, April 25th, 2008 the latest. Susantoso, however, said that as per Thursday afternoon, no supplier has submitted document tender. (denny)
