Paiton power to connect with Java-Bali grid in December

The Paiton coal-fired power plant (PLTU Jatim Paiton Unit 9) in Pasuruan, East Java with a total capacity of 660 megawatts (MW) will be connected with the Java-Bali power grid in December this year.
Jarman, Director General for Electricity, said the power plant unit is supposed to join the Java-Bali power grid in November.
Jarman said that technicians of the power plant are still doing some repair works on the generator. (bernard)
