PAL hands over 1st order of Tangguh escort tug

State ship builder PT PAL Indonesia has delivered an escort tug vessel to Tangguh LNG project contractor consortium JGC/PT KBR Indonesia Joint Operation in Surabaya on Friday.
The vessel, which has a 4,400 horse power (HP) with length 32 meters, width 11.6 meters and speed max 12 knots was handed over by PAL president Harsusanto to PT KBR Indonesia JO, PAL said in a release.
The JO has placed order of four units of the vessels to PAL. The second unit is scheduled to be delivered at the end of the year.
