Pama Persada records production increase, earnings in 9-months

Publicly listed heavy equipment maker PT United Tractors said on Thursday that its wholly owned mining contractor subsidiary PT Pama Persada Nusantara recorded 19,3 million tons of coal production and removed 94.7 million of bcm overburden for its principals during the first nine months of this year.
The company said the period results was a 6 percent increased from previous year?s corresponding period?s coal production of 18.1 million tons and 88.0 million bcm overburden removed.
United tractors said during the period Pama booked a net earning of Rp2,37 trillion (US$= Rp9,220), a 3 percent increase than previous year?s period of Rp2,29 trillion.
Pama Persada is Indonesia?s largest coal mining contractor with PT Adaro Indonesia, and Indominco as major clients. (robert)
