Pama reports 2009 higher coal production, overburden

Mining contractor PT Pamapersada Nusantara (Pama) has produced 68.0 million tons of coal for its clients in January-December 2009 period, higher 15 percent compared to the previous year?s production of 59 million tons, parent company PT United Tractors reported on Thursday.
Overburden removal in the full year also increased by 35% from 441.9 million bank cubic meters (bcm) to 597.9 million bcm, the company said in statement.
Pama is Indonesia?s largest mining services provider. The company?s existing clients include PT Adaro Indonesia, PT Indominco Mandiri, PT Kaltim Prima Coal, Tambang Batubara Bukit Asam (PTBA), PT Multi Harapan Utama, and PT Kideco Jaya Agung. (denny)
