Pama reports higher 9-mo coal production

JSX-listed heavy equipment distributor PT.United tractors Tbk. reported that its coal mining contractor unit PT.Pamapersada Nusantara has managed to increase coal production for its clients to 39.2 million tonnes in the first 9 months of 2007, compared to 31.5 MT in the same period last year.
The company also reported that overburden removed for the period remained stagnated at 258 million bcm.
Pama is Indonesia?s largest mining services provider. The company?s existing clients include PT Adaro Indonesia, PT Indominco Mandiri, PT Kaltim Prima Coal, Tambang Batubara Bukit Asam, PT Multi Harapan Utama, and PT Kideco Jaya Agung. (denny)
