Pama reports higher 9 mo coal production, overburden

Mining contractor PT Pamapersada Nusantara (Pama) has produced 48.5 million tons for its clients in January-September 2009 period, 10% higher than last year?s same period production, parent company PT United Tractors reported on Friday.

Overburden removal in the nine month also increased by 32% to 435.5 million bank cubic meters (bcm), the company said in Quarterly Report.

Pama is Indonesia?s largest mining services provider. The company?s existing clients include PT Adaro Indonesia, PT Indominco Mandiri, PT Kaltim Prima Coal, Tambang Batubara Bukit Asam, PT Multi Harapan Utama, and PT Kideco Jaya Agung. (denny)
