Pamapersada bags coal mining contract for PT Tanjung Alam Jaya

Indonesia?s top coal mining contractor PT Pamapersada Nusantara has signed a contract to carry out mining and hauling at PT Tanjung Alam Jaya (TAJ) coal mine in Banjar regency, South Kalimantan Province.

?The mining contract with Pama is aimed at to produce around one million tons of coal per year starting late this year,? an industry source told Petromindo.Com on Tuesday.

TAJ operates a 9.721-hectare coal mine which has mineable reserves of around 10 million tons.

TAJ was acquired by state-owned tin miner PT Timah Tbk in November last year. (alex)
