Pamapersada bags contract from S. Kalimantan coalminer

Top coal mining contractor PT. Pamapersada Nusantara said it had bagged 10-year mining contract from South Kalimantan based coalmining PT. Bhumi Rantau Energi starting early July this year.

"The contract was signed last May for 10 years," said Pamapersada business development officer Zoni Wirawan on Monday. He said production would start at capacity of 600,000 tons per annum.

He said Bhumi Rantau would produce sub bituminous coal with calorific value below 5,000 and first shipment is planned at the end of July with coal trading house Glencore as taker.

Bhumi is affiliated with coalminer PT Hasnur Jaya Utama. The company's mine is located in Tapin regency, South Kalimantan. (alex)
