Pamapersada develops C. Kalimantan power plant

IDX-listed conglomerate PT Astra International Tbk said that its indirect mining contractor subsidiary PT Pamapersada Nusantara is currently in the process of developing a 1x15 MW coal-fired power plant in Central Kalimantan, which is expected to be completed in the middle of next year.
The power plant project is located near the group?s Asmin Bara Bronang mine site in Central Kalimantan
?It will probably be completed in the middle of next year,? said Astra Director Djoko Pranoto said Monday.
He said that the electricity output of the plant would be dedicated for internal use, and the excess to be sold to state-owned power firm PT PLN.
