Pamapersada expects lower coal output this year

Mining contractor company PT Pamapersada Nusantara, a subsidiary of IDX-listed heavy equipment and mining firm PT United Tractors Tbk (UT), expects coal production from mines owned by its clients and affiliated firms this year to be around 103 million tons, slightly lower than last year?s 109 million tons.
This was said by UT Corporate Secretary Sara Loebis recently. She said that production next year is projected to slightly increase by 3-5 percent.
Meanwhile, Sara said that own coal production by indirect subsidiary PT Asmin Bara Bronang this year is expected to be between 6 million and 6.5 million tons this year, up compared to around 4.7 million tons last year. Production by Asmin next year is projected to rise to around 7 million tons.
