Pamapersada to invest $400m in mining equipments, acquisition

Top coal mining contractor PT Pamapersada Nusantara will invest US$400 million next year to expand capacity to respond to its clients? need to boost production.
Vice President Director Dwi Priyadi was quoted by Bisnis Indonesia as saying that the investment would be mainly used to purchase heavy equipments. The company will also use the fund to acquire one coal mine in Tanah Bumbu, South Kalimantan, which is currently producing at a rate of 1 million tones per annum, he said.
Pamapersada is a unit of IDX-listed diversified conglomerate PT Astra Internasional Tbk through its unit subsidiary PT United Tractors Tbk. (*)
