Pan Asia?s unit gets in principle forestry permit

ASX-listed Pan Asia Corporation Limited announced on Friday that its subsidiary, PT Transcoal Minergy (TCM), has been granted an In-Principle Forestry Permit. The permit covers all coal mining activities and infrastructure required to bring the Project into production and beyond.
The granting of the In-Principle Forestry Permit is a significant step in the process of obtaining the final ?Pinjam Pakai? or ?Borrow Use of Forest Area Permit? allowing for the planned underground mining and surface infrastructure operations.
Pan Asia Corporation Limited owns a 75 percent interest in TCM, the owner of mining operation production licence 545/091/IUP-OP/D.PE/2010 dated 28 April 2010, located in the Tanah Bumbu Province in the Regency of South Kalimantan.
