Pan Orient to carry out 2D seismic survey at East Jabung in May

Pan Orient Energy announced on Thursday that the Canadian company plans to commence a 430 km of 2D seismic at East Jabung in May 2013.

The firm also said in an update report that 227 kilometer 2D seismic program at South CPP is near completion.

By late 2013, Pan Orient is expected to have all of the 2D seismic data acquired in South CPP and East Jabung, and the 3D in Batu Gajah interpreted, and will be in position to choose the best targets for a 2014 drilling campaign from an array of prospects located over a large, highly prospective region on the basis of recently acquired, high quality seismic data.

The company has 100 percent interest in East Jabung, 97 percent in South CPP and 77 percent in Batu Gajah and operates both blocks.
