Pandawa Prima finds gas at Wain block

PT Pandawa Prima Lestari discovered gas at Karamba Updip-1 exploration well within Wain block in Pasir Penajam regency, East Kalimantan province.

?During DST-1, there was a kick-off gas in mid-March. We are monitoring the flow rate since it is not stable yet,? a source told Petromindo.com.

SKK Migas has been informed about the discovery and is now setting eyes on the block.

SKK Migas? Operation Deputy Muliawan said the gas flows at a rate of 5-7.5 mmscfd based on DST-1.

The Wain exploration block is located onshore Kutei Basin, which is one of prolific hydrocarbon producing basins in Indonesia, covering an area of 1,149 square kilometers. The block is 100 percent owned by PT Pandawa Prima Lestari.
