PT Pandawa Prima Lestari said it is open to the possibility of farming out 30 percent of its interest in Wain block, in East Kalimantan Province.
?Status is still open to farm out 30 percent interest on the condition that the POD is still in process. The plan is to start production in early 2018,? said Manager for General Affairs and External Relations at Pandawa Prima, Dwi Djatmiko to Petromindo.com on Wednesday, referring to plan of development.
As has been previously reported by this portal, Pandawa claimed it has found gas at the Karamba Updip-1 exploration well in the Wain block, which is 100 percent owned by the company.
Elsewhere, Dwi said that Pandawa has signed MoUs for the sales of gas from the Wain block with three buyers including PT Medco EP Indonesia, PT Pertamina Gas (Pertagas), and Humpuss.
He said that an industrial estate in East Kalimantan has also agreed to buy up to 5 mmscfd of gas from the Wain block project for power plant, while the remaining 20-25 mmsfd will be allocated for Medco, Pertagas, and Humpuss.
