Pandawa to drill 1 well at Wain block in Q3

Oil and gas company PT Pandawa Prima Lestari will drill one exploration well at its Wain block in East Kalimantan in the third quarter of the year.

The company said in a tender announcement that the drilling will be carried out on Karamba Updip-1 well.

Wain Block covers 3 regencies in East Kalimantan, namely Balikpapan, Penajam Paser Utara and Kutai Kertanegara, with a total coverage area of 1,149.30 square kilometers.

Pandawa Prima website shows that it was established in 2005 by the founders of PT Bina Wahana Petrindo (BWP). BWP, now a sister company of Pandawa Prima, was established in 1993. In 2008, BWP was sold to Samudera Energy, a member of Northstar Pacific Group.
