PT Pandawa Prima Lestari plans to spud the Karamba Updip-1 exploration well at onshore Wain block, in Penajam Paser Utara Regency, East Kalimantan, in the fourth week of December 2015.

Head of Exploration Drilling and Survey Division at upstream oil and gas regulator SKK Migas, Ngatijan told Petromindo.com Wednesday that progress of rig preparation has reached 75 percent.

The drilling program is expected to take about 46 days to complete, he added.

The Wain exploration block is located onshore Kutei Basin, which is one of prolific hydrocarbon producing basins in Indonesia, covering an area of 1,149 square kilometers. The block is 100 percent owned by PT Pandawa Prima Lestari.
