Pantech secures US$1.5m contract with Pertamina

Malaysia-based firm Pantech Group Holdings Berhad (Pantech) said that its wholly owned subsidiary, Pantech Steel Industries Sdn Bhd (Pantech Steel) had secured a contract worth US$ 1.5 million to supply induction long bends for the Indonesian state oil and gas firm PT Pertamina.

Shipment of the induction long bends to Indonesia is scheduled during the second quarter of next year (2014). The revenue contribution will be for the financial year ending on 28th February 2014, the company said in a press statement on Wednesday.

The Pantech Group, comprising of Pantech Corporation Sdn Bhd, Pantech Steel Industries Sdn Bhd, Pantech Stainless & Alloy Industries Sdn Bhd and Panaflo Controls Pte Ltd, functions a one-stop centre for pipes, fittings, flanges, valves, and other components.
