PAS secures helicopter services contracts from 3 major oil, gas firms

PT Pelita Air Service (PAS) which provides helicopter services to support offshore operations of oil and gas companies said that it has been awarded long term charter helicopter services contracts by ConocoPhillips, Star Energy and Premier Oil.
It said that under the deals Pelita Air will provide four units of Sikorsky S-76C helicopters for a period of five years, starting from May 23, 2012 until May 22, 2017.
Currently, Pelita Air still has existing helicopter service contracts with ConocoPhillips Indonesia Inc. Ltd, Premier Oil Natuna Sea BV, and Star Energy (Kakap) Ltd, where it is providing two Sikorsky S-76A helicopters. The contracts were extended from November 1, 2011 to April 30, 2012.
The charter airliner however declined to disclose the value of any one of the service contracts.
