PCN expecting to obtain forestry permit by the end of this month

Indonesia emerging coal producer company, PT Prolindo Cipta Nusantara (PCN) is still waiting for the borrow and use forest permit from the Ministry of Forestry in order to be able to commence its maiden coal production from its coal mine in Sebamban, Tanah Bumbu Regency, South Kalimantan.
Rudy Hartanto, CEO of PCN told Petromindo.com on Tuesday that the company is expecting the issuance of the permit by the end of June 2013.
"We are expecting to obtain the permit by the end of this month," Rudy said adding that the activity in its coal mine is halted for the time being while waiting for the permit, even though everything has been ready to commence the production.
Previously, Rudy revealed the plan that the company expects to produce 150,000 tons in its first month and ramp it up in the second month to about 300,000 tons, targeting to produce up to 2 million tons in 2013.
