Coal mining company PT Prolindo Cipta Nusantara (PCN) stated that it has resumed coal export to India after halting it for about five months due to the monsoon season in the latter country.

Marketing Director Andi Ananda Manggabarani told Petromindo.com on Friday that the company shipped two Supramax vessels of coal with total export volume of 110,000 tons in July 2015.

He said that that besides India, the company also exports its 3,800 NAR coal calorific value to China. Andi, however, didn?t disclose the export volume to China. He just revealed that so far the production from PCN?s 350-hectare concession in Tanah Bumbu regency, South Kalimantan, is around 270,000 to 300,000 ton per month.

?About 50,000 tons are allocated for domestic market,? he said. Andi added that in August 2015, the company is expected to ship three Supramax vessels of coal to India with capacity of 55,000 tons for each vessel.
