Emerging coal mining company PT Prolindo Cipta Nusantara (PCN) produced only 500,000 tons of coal, lower than the target, in the first two months of this year from its concession in Sebamban, Tanah Bumbu Regency, South Kalimantan.
Henry Soetio, President Director PCN told Petromindo.com that the production was still below the target due to weather conditions.
"The weather was so bad hence we could only produce about 500,000 tons in January and February, against the target of 600,000 tons," he said adding that the coal was mostly exported to India.
