Coal mining company PT Prolindo Cipta Nusantara (PCN), a subsidiary of Lestari Citra Persada (LCP), stated that in the first quarter of 2017 the company was able to sell around 1,050,000 tons of coal.
Andi A. Manggabarani, Marketing Director of the company told Petromindo.com on Wednesday that around 90 percent of the output were exported to China. "Around 100,000 tons were absorbed by domestic market monthly," he said.
Andi revealed that the company was able to produce around 350,000 tons per month during the first quarter (Q1) from the target of 300,000 tons per month despite the heavy rainfall at its coal mine site in Batulicin, South Kalimantan. "The coal output in Q1 was quite good, compared to Q4 in 2016 which was only 280,000 tons per month," he said.
